I'm currently dating a woman who I really like. We've been together almost a year now. But she kisses her guy friends on the mouth hello and goodbye. I'm 46 and have never experienced this before. It isn't her culture, she's from Iowa. I let her know that's a hard boundary for me. It's hard because I don't want to be a controlling guy, but I don't like it. She does do it with girls too, and I think it's odd, but that doesn't bother me as much. I realize that may seem unfair, but I'm just being honest. Am I insecure? Maybe? She told me she would try, but she's done it forever. Well, it's been 2-months, and she hasn't slowed down at all. It seems like she doesn't care about my feelings. I'd like to think if she told me something wa...

Ask Amy: Guilt follows in wake of estrangement

Published Fri, 21 Feb 2025 21:36:54 GMT

Dear Amy: My 82-year-old mother has an undiagnosed mental illness, marked by narcissism, paranoia, delusions, and abusive rages.Beginning in my teens (I’m in my 50s now), she has caused long periods of estrangement over perceived slights, so she missed my wedding and the births of my children. My father divorced her when I was eight years old.And yet she also has better periods when she can be lovely and charming, and so whenever she called me to reconcile, I always did.Throughout the pandemic, I visited her regularly, took her to her many doctor’s appointments, and helped her through other major problems. Following this allocation, only the designated manufacturer was entitled to sell military hand grenades in its allocated territory unless the other party gave its consent. Both companies cooperated with the Commission under the leniency programme (2006 Leniency Notice): RUAG received full immunity for revealing the cartel, thereby avoiding a fine of ca. € 2.5 million, while and Diehl benefited from a 50% ...
